RESEARCH EXPERIMENTAL NOISE LABORATORY<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Research Experimental Noise Laboratory is a project established through the collaboration of the <\/span>Moravian-Silesian Automotive Cluster<\/b> and <\/span>V\u0160B \u2013 Technical University of Ostrava<\/b>. The core of the project is a <\/span>semi-anechoic room<\/b>, built on the campus of V\u0160B \u2013 Technical University of Ostrava. It is a unique facility of its kind in the entire Moravian-Silesian region and the surrounding areas.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
THE NOISE LABORATORY OFFERS:<\/b><\/div>\n
    \n
  • Multi-channel measurements<\/b> of all common acoustic quantities using up to 20 channels (sound pressure, intensity, power).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Standardized measurements on objects up to dimensions of 1.1m x 1.1m x 1.1m.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • For informative measurements, the size of the object is limited only by the entrance dimensions of the semi-anechoic room (1.25m x 2m).<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Noise measurement<\/b> combined with vibration measurement.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Extensive experience with measurements for various applications in the <\/span>automotive industry<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Design and development of methodologies for selected applications, including measurement execution and data processing.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Software processing and evaluation of measured data for <\/span>acoustic design<\/b>, with the possibility of synchronization with high-speed or thermal cameras.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Noise measurement services outside laboratory premises.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Utilization of the scientific potential of V\u0160B \u2013 Technical University of Ostrava.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT OF THE SEMI-ANECHOIC ROOM:<\/b><\/div>\n
      \n
    • Measurements are performed exclusively using high-end instruments from <\/span>Br\u00fcel & Kjaer<\/b> and <\/span>National Instruments<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The laboratory is equipped with a 6-channel B&K analyzer and an 8-channel NI analyzer for internal measurements.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Available power outlets include 230V\/50Hz for measured objects, as well as <\/span>12V\/10A\/AC\/DC and 24V\/10A\/AC\/DC<\/b> for powering automotive electrical components.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The semi-anechoic room also features water inlet and outlet systems for operational noise measurements on <\/span>“white goods”<\/b> (home appliances).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      The Research Experimental Noise Laboratory is located on the second floor of the <\/span>new canteen<\/b> (menza) within the V\u0160B \u2013 Technical University of Ostrava campus. The Center for Advanced Innovation Technologies and the headquarters of the <\/span>Moravian-Silesian Automotive Cluster<\/b> are located within the same complex.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
